New training initiative targets shared leadership, values and service improvement
An international faculty of Malawian, British and Australian clinicians and educators are running an innovative training course on shared leadership, values and service improvement in obstetric and neonatal health for non-physcian clinicians and nurse midwives at the Malawi Institute of Management in Lilongwe. The new course is part of theĀ ETATMBA project funded by the European Commission, working in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and College of Medicine, University of Malawi. Co-investment in education and training of NPCs leading to a BSc degree is part of the strategy to improve that standard of health care in Malawi.
